A Little Bit of Soul

The winter chills or is it loneliness cold
The early dusks or simply fear dark
Wanting nothing more than someone to hold
Waiting,...waiting for a little bit of soul

Corners, empty spaces to fill
Conscious of the solitude, shy of judging stares
Just need a heart to till
Waiting for a little bit of soul

Judgmental, under sizing, no strangers, but me and mine
Huddled in a corner wondering about time
All I need is love- nor perfect or divine
But definitely not without a little bit of soul

Life a sea of faces dancing around
Love hate and everything relatively emotional
I want ecstasy and pain, no moderation no bounds but
Only with a little bit of soul

Thousands of smiles, varying dimensions
Different reasons, some pretensions
I too want a smile specially for me, yet
Waiting forever for a little bit of soul.....
