Perfection they say is unattainable yet I
beg to differ
Inhale the soothing fragrance of fresh
earth after rain, which mesmerizes your senses.
Feel the cold air whistling past and
tickling your skin with a hint of mischief and playfulness
Experience the splatter of soft pearl like
drops of rain trickling down your face and washing away the dreariness
Visualize the canopy of shade formed over
your head by a flock of birds adrift the light blue sky… and you will know
perfection can be attained
Perfection they say is unachievable yet I
disagree
Experience the joy of a kid who came first
after being told he just didn’t have it in him.
Look through the eyes of a woman who
manages to smile while wishing her son goodbye knowing he will never return
Feel the blessings of an old couple that
saw in you their grandson while you carried their luggage up a flight of stairs
Step into the shoes of a girl while helping
the love of her life woo his love just to see him happy…. you will know
perfection can be achieved
Perfection they claim does not exist, yet I
refuse to believe
Become conscious of the unconditional love
which parents shower on their children
Feel the selfless devotion of a son aspiring
to fulfill a dream that his father had
See through the reprimand and grumbling of a wife, the raw
concern for her husband’s health
Experience the joy of a sibling who has
forgone a meal so that the other could eat to his hearts content……and you will
know perfection exists.
Perfection exists in the small
imperfections of life.
